Josh Brock [General Shale] and John Hockensmith [MHM] put together a first class product show this year at the Crowne Plaza in downtown Knoxville. The show always draws a wonderful mixture of old friends and new ones from the design and construction industry. The sold out show featured new products and services. Registrants were greeted by the Associated Construction Women (ACW) who was gracious to volunteer their services. The new component director for AIA, Dale Powers, was manning the AIA booth to greet visitors also. Knox County Codes department was well represented and was able to talk with lots of designers and builders. The food was fantastic. [we didn't know that shrimp grew that large!!] Thank you for all the volunteer efforts and see you again next year.

GPR can be used in varieties of medium including soil, rock, concrete, ice, freshwater etc. It can detect subsurface objects (rebar, post-tensioned cables, underground utilities), changes in material, voids, cracks etc. GPR can be utilized in several different applications including but not limited to Geotechnical, Subsurface Utility Engineering, and Environmental Engineering.
